Japanese Instant Curry Sauce with Vegetables (Medium Hot) 210g by S&B
Enjoy one of Japan's favourite meals in minutes with S&B's instant curry sauce with vegetables. This medium-hot vegetarian curry sauce is packed with chunks of root vegetables like onion, carrot and potato, as well as plenty of warming and umami-rich seasonings for a classic Japanese curry flavour. To prepare, simply heat up and serve with a side of rice or noodles.
Curry was introduced to Japan by the British during the Meiji era of the 1800’s. It has evolved within Japan since then, taking on a unique flavour of its own (milder and a little sweeter than most Indian varieties), and become one of the most commonly utilised flavours in foods such as bread and udon noodles, as well as a much-loved dish in its own right all over the country.
Ingredients:
Water, Vegetables (Potato, Carrot, Onion), Wheat Flour, Vegetable Oils (Palm Oil, Rapeseed Oil), Sugar, Sauteed Onion, Potato Paste, Curry Powder, Thickener: E1422. Salt, Tomato Paste, Yeast Extract, Onion Powder, Colour: E150, Spices (Black Pepper, Chilli Pepper, Cardamom, Nutmeg, Fennel, Clove, Celery Seed, Mustard), Roasted Garlic.
How To Use
• Place pouch, unopened, in a pan of boiling water for 3-5 mins. Remove, open and pour over rice or noodles.
• Alternatively, pour contents of pouch into a microwave-safe bowl and heat on high for 1 min. Leave to stand for 30 seconds, then pour over rice or noodles to serve.
