Anardana is another name for dried pomegranate seeds. The seeds are sticky and crunchy, with a pleasantly sweet, tart flavour. They bring a wonderfully distinctive sweet and sour aspect to dishes.

The seeds are typically used in Persian and Indian cooking, where they are found in vegetable dishes, chutneys, curries and stews. Before use, we advise that you soak the seeds in water or crush before sprinkling directly onto dishes.
