Spicy Shrimp Paste Sauce (Nam Prik Kapi) is the most favourite and widely loved Nam Prik for Thai people since Ayutthaya era. It is made by incorporating aromatic Thai herbs such as chilli, garlic, lime juice together with fine-quality shrimp paste and season until it gives well rounded and balanced taste.
Nam Prik Kapi can be used as dipping sauce for fresh or blanched vegetables and fried short mackerel (pla tu). Using the sauce for Nam Prik stir-fried rice is unbelievably delicious.
