Kao Soi Seasoning Mix (Egg Noodle Curry)(50g) by Lobo
Kao Soi originates from the hilly area of North Thailand. Traditionally it is accompanied by fresh egg noodles. To use it, add half a cup of coconut milk with the contents of this packet. Stir fry till its fragrant and then add a meat of your choice. Cook till the meat is done and add two cups of coconut milk and three cups of water. Lower the heat and simmer for a few minutes. Add Soy sauce and chilli to your preference.
Ingredients: Spices (Chilli pepper, coriander, cumin, paprika, cardamon, sugar, salt, msg, curry powder and citric acid (no artificial colour or preservatives).

Recipe for Kao Soi (Egg Noodle Curry)
- Heat a wok or frying pan and add ½ cup (120ml) coconut milk together with the contents of this packet.
- Add 500 g of chicken or beef and cook until done.
- Add 2 more cups (480ml) of coconut milk and 3 cups (720ml) of water, bring to the boil. Lower the heat and simmer until the meat is tender.
- Serve with cooked egg noodles. Add soy sauce, lime juice, shallots and chilli to taste.
