Red curry is one of the most popular and easy to make Thai dishes, featuring a blend of spicy, salty, sweet, and sour flavours. Combining such savoury ingredients as beef, chicken, fish, or pork plus coconut milk, fish sauce, palm sugar and this packet, anyone can create this classic Thai food. This small sized bag of curry base is made from a special collection of Thai herbs and spices, such as garlic, shallots, red chillies, galangal, shrimp paste, salt, kaffir lime peel, and coriander all mixed together according to traditional Thai standards. The Lobo brand consistently offers quality Thai foods and ingredients for use in Thailand and abroad, so authenticity and quality are assured. Additionally, the company offers great recipe ideas via its website. The small size and affordable price of this particular item make it an essential item for anyone interested in cooking Asian or fusion cuisine.
Uses for This Product: The great thing about this item is that it is easy to use even for amateur cooks. All the ingredients for the base are here already, cutting out the majority of preparation time and complexity. The only things missing are a meat or vegetable-based substance (like tofu), fish sauce, coconut milk, and some sugar. Putting all of these together creates a deliciously saucy meal, commonly served over white or brown rice. While red curry is commonly served with rice, it is also a primary ingredient in Thai fish cakes and grilled Thai sausages. These could be excellent side dishes served with the main rice-based course. All of these foods can be used in traditional Thai dishes or used to create truly unique fusion dishes. Add this to a collection of Thai food ingredients today and enjoy the flavours of delicious Thai dishes tomorrow.
