Cantonese Stir Fried Rice Yangzhou Spice Paste 50g by Asian Home Gourmet
The Cantonese Stir-Fried Rice is an easy every day meal that brings out the natural flavours and fragrance of ingredients. Perfect with fresh ingredients but also a great way to spruce up left-overs.

Cantonese Stir-Fried Rice (Serves 4):
Ingredients:
1 packet Cantonese Stir-Fried Rice Spice Paste
2-3 tbsp vegetable oil
1 large onion, thinly sliced
100g (3.5 oz) prawns, ham or bacon
3 1/4 cups (650g) cooked rice
2 eggs, beaten
100g (3.5 oz) frozen mixed vegetables
Sliced spring onions and red chillies, thinly sliced, as garnish
Cooking Instructions:
1. Heat oil in non-stick wok on medium heat. Add onion, prawns, ham or bacon
2. Stir-fry for 3 minutes. Add rice and spice paste, stir-fry for 2 minutes
3. Push mixture to one side of wok. Add eggs, cook for 1 minute and stir into rice mixture. Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 2 minutes or until hot. Garnish
Cooking Tip: Snow peas, button mushrooms or vegetables of your choice may be used instead of meat or prawns
Keep away from direct sunlight and store in cool dry place.
Once opened, use immediately.
